Saddened to hear the news of Nell McCafferty's death while in Derry over the last few days. I grew up with her bolshy opinionated voice on the airwaves, kicking against the pricks and waking us up to what was going on in the world. She was a force for truth.

If it's possible to cultivate fava beans & lentils & other lovely leguminous things in Britain-I found these Hodmedod's split #favabeans (added to lentil salad) in Holland & Barrett Cork-why don't we have them available in Ireland? They're quick to cook, nutritious & delicious.
