We are heartbroken to announce the passing of Officer Jamal Mitchell of the Minneapolis, Minnesota Police Department. Officer Mitchell was shot and killed on May 30, 2024 after being ambushed while responding to a shooting call. Rest in peace 🙏🏻💙

We are devastated to announce the passing of Officer Joshua Briese of the Gila River Police Department, Tribal Police in Arizona. Officer Briese was shot and killed while responding to a disturbance call at 2:00 a.m. at a home in the Gila River Indian Community on June 1, 2024.
