This is fantastic news! It means that breastfeeding support in Start for Life funded areas will continue.

The Breastfeeding Alliance, First 1001 Days National Children's Bureau and others in the sector had called Start for Life funding to be extended in 2025-26. The government listened and has confirmed that £18.5 million will be allocated to breastfeeding support this year.
