This is a vital addition from Eilir Hughes. Respiratory viruses spread faster in winter because we cram indoors and then don’t open the windows. The less ventilation a hospital, school or care home setting has, the higher the risk. The fresher the air, the lower the viral load.

The Health & Care Bill is back in the Commons tmrw. It divides the NHS into 42 areas led by Integrated Care Boards which - incredibly - private companies will be allowed to sit on. I believe private companies should *never* get a say in how the NHS is run. Pls RT if you do too
