Nearly 20 years ago the Darlington windfarm was abandoned because it was too environmentally sensitive with #Brolga & other species present. Now GPG want to try again to build it. Every turbine is in #Brolga protected homeranges. Why hasn't Lily D'Ambrosio MP stopped this mad idea

On #WorldWetlandsDay2025 the Victorian Government & John Bradley are reducing protective buffers around #Brolga wetlands, so they can build windturbines within 300m instead of 3,2km. 70 nest sites displaced by 5km already due to turbines, so why reduce protection. More bad decisions🤢🤢

Renew Economy There is supposed to be a decommissioning fund for the removal of these turbines, but Moyne Shire confirmed there is no money, There is no fun. Landholders may be left with the $750K per turbine cost to just remove the above ground component
