The other week I preached Ephesians 6 at our church and we celebrated communion together. After the sermon, to prepare for communion, I read one of my favorite quotes from Tony Reinke about the spectacle of the cross and church ordinances and the victory of Jesus. So so good.

Great reminder... My father has always said to his kids, "Do you know why I love you?" And then he'd say, "Because you're my son." This article makes me think about that kind of security in unconditional love.
