Vandaag, 81 jaar na dato, in Kloosterkerk te Den Haag stilgestaan bij Slag in de Javazee. Samen met C-ZSK de heren Geneuglijk (101) en Kleijn (98) bijgestaan bij de kranslegging. Zij waren erbij! Waardige herdenking, waardevol samenzijn.

Gisteren waardige herdenking Slag in de Javazee. Ruime media-aandacht voor marine-veteraan Johan Geneuglijk, mogelijk ook vanwege mondiale, maritieme spanningen. Hij hield ons voor dat we toen slecht waren voorbereid. Zou voor ons een indringende waarschuwing moeten zijn.
