This line of argument is ridiculous by Switzerland. Imagine if someone said that we couldn’t demand a Russian withdrawal from Ukraine without mentioning how to guarantee Russias security. You can’t keep illegally occupying another state just because you are scared.

Honestly, the EUs data privacy law is one of the best things that have come from the EU. I’m constantly grateful for it. We need more more more politics like this that takes a strong stand and doesn’t let the multinational corporations dictate the rules.
