Had our joint Christmas party last night with Birstall Luddites Rotary Club of Birstall Luddites. Brilliant evening at Howley Hall Golf Club with excellent food and drink (thank you Jenny) Emley Brass Band playing carols for us, were wonderful.

Just had a fabulous afternoon at Park Road JI&N School, where we Chartered our new RotaKids club, where we were joined by DG Nigel, club President William, fellow Rotarians, RotaKids parents and our lovely Gwen Lowe, Mayor of Kirklees 2025-26.

My lovely RotaKids at Park Road J I & N today presented a cheque for £80 to Rotary D1040 Polio Plus Co-ordinator Robert Jackson Rotary Club of Birstall Luddites. They had chosen Polio Plus as their charity this year, and held a bake sale to raise funds. I am so pleased with them.
