A Democrat was in the White House when my family was sent to the internment camps in 1941. It was an egregious violation of our human and civil rights. It would have been understandable if people like me said they’d never vote for a Democrat again, given what had been done to

Questions Fox News won’t shout at Trump: -Have you been evaluated for dementia, given your family history? -Are you eligible to run for office, if you gave aid & comfort to insurrectionists? -Why did you call any of your fellow Americans “vermin,” echoing fascists like Hitler?

Dictatorship is like cancer — it will keep spreading unless stopped. The pressing question is: who will be next? That's why supporting Ukrainians & Belarusians in the fight for freedom is an obligation for every democratic country. Web Summit

CNBC and now Vox shedding climate reporting jobs. Why? I feel for the excellent reporters losing their jobs but I am genuinely mystified as to why this beat is being targeted. It’s important, but I would have thought also just a beat everyone would be interested in

Every single American needs to know that Trump has, again, promised to repeal the Affordable Care Act if he's elected. This would rip health care away from millions. Please help spread this far and wide.

Free advice for others in my profession. Spend less time reporting on who's ahead in the election, and more time on what they'd do if elected.

While T partially lifted his months-long blockade on 400+ senior military promotions this week, many of those officers still can’t move on to their next posting bc of his remaining holds on a handful of the top positions. W/ Connor O'Brien politico.com/news/2023/12/0…

...actually have serious consequences for elections in 2024 and beyond. That's not our hysterical estimation. That is what seasoned, longtime, current elections officials, both Dem & GOP, working in multiple states are telling (or, warning) us right now: rollingstone.com/politics/polit…

My main idea right now is that all of Congress and the executive branch, including all flacks, should undergo yearly financial audits for any irregularities in their bank accounts. We are seeing a lot of US officials, including the president, who have participated in bribery.

Under DoD rules, anyone who gets security clearance has to undergo a financial audit to make sure they do not have excessive debt or suspicious money movements in their bank accounts. We need that same process renewed yearly for all federal officials.
