Looking forward to progressing with EEAST I will have gone from student paramedic to EMT to paramedic then (fingers crossed) ACP in a couple of years. Look forward to the challenge but be in better position to support service users

Strange how deal with emotions and feelings, death does not normally bother me in work and sometimes outside of work but when it comes to someone who inspires you leaves you feeling numb feel as if need to cry but inability to.

Not long now until I push my self and progress even further with the help of EEAST Primary & Urgent Care whilst doing masters with @UEA_Health (interview pending) I know it will be hard and I will struggle but you cannot achieve unless you push yourself

Today unconditional offer received to join urgent care team as of next month, and EEAST Primary & Urgent Care to progress and I know it will be challenging and amazing how come from knowing nothing to paramedic and now trainee ACP with EEAST Ambulance Service #Newrole, #progression, #development

Neurodivergent learners have to work incredibly hard all the time just to keep up with their neurotypical peers. A huge amount of effort has to be spent just to stay afloat, and just to stay on top of things, but this is often rarely noticed, let alone recognised and rewarded.

How to explain combined asd and adhd - mind on the go constant, have routine but then paralysis kicks in so don’t complete them and cause further frustration facebook.com/share/r/7km85E…

Been procrastinating but decided to knuckle down and do some more prep. Tick now next to each outcome and 15000 (nearly) words later. Been a good recap of knowledge and learnt a thing or two as-well.

What autism isn’t: - a disease - a mental health condition - a learning disability - a tragedy - an illness - something to be ashamed of What autism is: - part of neurodiversity - a neurodevelopmental condition - a different way of seeing and processing the world 🤍🤍🤍

End of an era, just completed last shift out of Lowestoft South Fire Station before moving over to urgent care team, has been a brilliant 5 years. As they looked after me only right they get a little present

Today had a great meal with 🚒 for their Xmas meal and was nice for their senior team wishing luck on my journey. Was lovely to see them all and hope not to be a stranger.

Nervous & looking forward to first (on the road) day in new role. For someone who doesn’t like change this is a big one but if i don’t push myself then I won’t progress but today good day training new skill even though I can suture will still ask mum to do the sewing #development

Today was a bit of different day, clinical assessments, uni meeting and also delivering a short presentation to colleagues. One shift but so much variety. The new role is versatile and good to see development and learning from each other #CPD #TraineeACP EEAST Primary & Urgent Care

Today marks my 10 year paid anniversary in the ambulance service but my journey began in 2008 as a CFR before joining as a student paramedic in 2015 and now studying a Masters, and working in a specialist team within EEAST EEAST Primary & Urgent Care
