Always like to buy a local paper if I'm on holiday and the The Cornishman is an interesting read. Story today about the challenge local businesses face, asking for local shout outs. Mine is the incomparable Portreath Bakery - Home of MMGF - that's an empty pasty bag btw, it didn't last long

Appreciating nature treasures is consitently a source of nerdy joy. When I spy a wild trinket - the perfect limpet shell, a teeny piece of seaglass, a Redshank's feather - I get all giddy. Riches of the sea, spat out from the salty blue, onto the shore at my feet. How magic.
