The first ever IUCN Red List assessment of the #Himalayan #wolf was recently published. Led by WildCRU’s Geraldine Werahn, this follows a decade of research work to confirm ‘Canis lupus chanco’ is genetically distinct from wider ranging Holarctic grey wolves.
