Could these five, in addition to the rumoured signings of Josh Nisbet and Kai Trewin, be the building blocks for a return to long-term success in the A-League Men? Tommy talks smart off-season signings as we look to rebuild from a City-era low: talkingcity.com.au/5-players-melb…

The way he is being treated is getting worse and worse. After being snubbed and called ‘not ready’, he has every right to turn down a late injury replacement approach so he can play senior football at his club. Get a grip, Australian football.

So now I’ve missed the: • 6-0 Derby • 7-0 Derby • 8-1 vs Brisbane • 8-0 vs Perth Maybe I should always be travelling when City play? We’ll break so many records it’s ridiculous

simonhill1894 I’d be happy if they got rid of VAR in the A-League all together. It hasn’t eliminated the mistakes it’s made them magnified. It costs a lot of money to run, which could be used in other areas. Given the money crisis with APL and the cuts made in all areas, to me it makes sense.

It shouldn't matter anyway but this is where we are at btw. Irankunda is low risk and hugh reward for this window. It would be inexcusable to not select him. CommBank Socceroos Football Australia don't fuck this up again.

Respectfully Irankunda has shown time and time again that he deserves a call up, so fair enough he lights a fire under Arnie’s ass. God even Arzani was capped to keep him from going with Iran, and he didn’t have half the talent of Irankunda at this age.
