The 21st Annual Maynard Road Race was a big success this past Saturday! Despite the chilly temps we had more than 200 runners/walkers. A huge THANK YOU to all the volunteers who stepped up to make the event run smoothly!

On Saturday one of our youngest 5k runners and top fundraiser, Sophia B, was awarded a Citation, presented by Representative Kate Hogan, for running her second 5k Maynard Road Race and raising over $600 to support programs for BGCAV. Kate Hogan

On Friday, April 5th Kirk Dental Associates of Sudbury closed their practice to the public and opened their doors to the Boys and Girls Club of Assabet Valley! The amazing team at Kirk Dental saw and treated 11 Club patients ages 5-13 years old.

What we love to hear: A mom quoted her son this morning saying he didn't want to miss a day of camp here. ❤️ The fun continues: Southwick Zoo, Public Safety Day with a visit from Middlesex Sheriff Middlesex Sheriff's Office, Maynard Police Department and Acton Fire Department.

Thanks to the generosity of the Sudbury Foundation the Club received funding to provide extensive site safety renovations. The Club now has a secured entry foyer, safety cameras outside the building, new keyed access and handicap door buttons. Thank you to The Sudbury Foundation!

We have the nicest friends! New England Tree Masters of Boxborough got rid of two large tree stumps and roots so that the kids have a safe and level play yard. William Perry of @APLockService rekeyed and replaced locks on several of our filing cabinets.
