This week is #BritishScienceWeek! 🦠🔬🧪 And we're launching our video case study🎥 This clip sees Dr Hari Arora showcasing replica heart valves as part of his biomedical research🫀🫁 #BSW2023 @SUSciEng Swansea University
Abstract submission for #BioMedEng23 at Swansea University is open! Come and be part of the UK’s largest gathering of Biomedical Engineers, Medical Engineers and Bioengineers – submit your abstract here biomedeng.org/biomedeng23/ab… Deadline is Friday 28th April.
Great to see the opening of the new exhibition @OrielScience a few weeks ago. Already getting positive messages and enquiries about research happening in the Biomedical Engineering Simulation & Testing Lab. Pleased to see the results of all the hard work put in by the group to bring this display concept to life!
We are representing Biomedical Engineering Simulation & Testing Lab today MediWales Connects. We will be sharing research activities and capabilities found in the lab, department Swansea BioMedEng and faculty @SUSciEng.
Enjoying my experience European Society of Biomechanics conference with 7 members of the Biomedical Engineering Simulation & Testing Lab. Great to reconnect with familiar faces and meet many new ones during this event. Lots of great discussions across project areas including on some of our collaborative lung imaging research on day 1.
Great to see the breadth of work from our Biomedical Engineering Simulation & Testing Lab ECRs European Society of Biomechanics on heart valves, surgical training devices, lung health and large vessel networks using techniques ranging from mechanical testing and digital image correlation to computational mechanics and machine learning
Thanks European Society of Biomechanics for the great conference The team from @SUSciEng enjoyed making so many connections over this week and are heading home happy. See you next year!
We will be Waterfront Museum for #SwanseaSciFest all weekend to talk about the wide range of activities in the lab including work characterising heart valves, brain biomechanics and surgical phantoms. Come meet a few of the team and see all the fantastic exhibits on show!
A new PhD scholarship opportunity is now open to join the Team working with AroraResearchLab. This project is focused on digital image correlation (DIC) measurement method optimisation for materials testing at cryogenic temperatures. swansea.ac.uk/postgraduate/s…
