In honor of #Umbraco #Codegarden, we are having a sweet treat this morning. It’s fun waking up to all the Umbraco news out of #cg19! If you see Benjamin (Benjamin Carleski) or Loyan (Loyan Roylance), say hi! They are enjoying all the fun while the rest of us hold down the fort 😀

One of my favorite things about flying is looking down and seeing how small a space I live in day to day, then looking up to see how big the world really is.

Well, it's finally time to head home from our #projectunicore kick-off. Thanks to Bjarke Berg and the entire Umbraco HQ team for their great hospitality, and thanks to ProWorks Corporation for supporting me in this new adventure. I'm ready to be home, but I hope to come back soon!

Testing the performance of various querying methods with Umbraco on v7 and v8, and was quite surprised with the performance of the LINQ queries in v8. I knew that NuCache was going to be faster, but wow! #h5yr to the entire Umbraco HQ team! bit.ly/3bb9JgH

😢 "50% of women abandon technology careers by the age of 35" and "study found that 37% of respondents cited company culture as the reason for abandoning a career in tech" We've a lot more work to do.👇

“I'd noticed that some of the women I most admire in tech rarely talk about tech. I'd thought that was personal preference but in these conversations, each told me it was a deliberate choice to mute their tech voice to make it bearable to be online. “

A typical website visit in 2022 1. Figure out how to decline all but essential cookies 2. Close the support widget asking if I need help 3. Stop the auto-playing video 4. Close the “subscribe to our newsletter” pop-up 5. Try and remember why I came here in the first place
