Update to the BA retrojet fleet movements for the next few days. As always, this is subject to last minute operational change. Please note, this will be the last update until early June, due to annual leave. See you in June πŸ‘‹

As 2019 draws to a close I hope you've all enjoyed the #BA100 retro liveries. I'm sorry the advance notice had to be suspended as BA's new social media rules interfered with the intent here. I'll retweet any favourite photos you send me of the fleet. Best regards, Tim Byatt

This has to be another contender for best photo, by AirbusRed, of A319 G-EUPJ, wearing BEA colours. She will be the first of the 4 retrojets to leave the fleet, provisionally in Feb 2020, so catch her whilst you can, before she's retired.

Camelback Mountain behind, taken by Kory (LevelFlight) of the Negus & Negus liveried B744 G-CIVB landing on R/W26 at Phoenix Sky Harbor. Good news if you like the B747 on this route from LHR, she'll be returning to PHX selectively throughout the summer, including all of Sept

In case you missed this stunning shot of A319 G-EUPJ, taken in Salzburg in March, here it is again. This has to be a contender for best British Airways retrojet photograph of the year. 😍

Looking simply stunning James. What great light 😍 Don't forget our poll, closing at 9pm tonight (GMT), to determine which BA livery (since 1974) will feature in a 3 way head to head poll tomorrow against the BEA & BOAC retrojet liveries, to determine the overall winner. #BA100

To the followers of BA’s retrojets worldwide in 2019, the official news that both the British Airways B747-400 retrojets BOAC (G-BYGC) and Landor (G-BNLY) are to be preserved is hugely significant. All four B747s (including G-CIVW) will need supporting. mediacentre.britishairways.com/news/01122020/…
