This summer, 10 APU graduate students went on the School of Education’s first study away experience to Zambia. The team taught at Breath of Heaven Academy while taking two courses and learning the importance of community through Ubuntu. Read the story: bit.ly/4ljjmgh.

APU celebrated our annual Faculty/Staff Kickoff featuring addresses from campus leaders, awards for faculty and staff members, and keynote speeches from CEO of Barna Group David Kinnaman and Christian author Joanne Jung. Thanks to all our amazing faculty and staff who attended.

And that’s a wrap on Day 1 of Welcome Weekend! We had so much fun welcoming new students to campus! From move ins to new friends to joining clubs and meeting Alpha Groups for the first time, it was definitely one for the books.

Day 2 of Welcome Weekend was filled with lots of smiles and ended with an awesome Cougar Family Festival and an APU Women's Soccer win!

One of our favorite traditions is ending Welcome Weekend with Chapel, followed by a time for family to draw chalk circles and pray over their students as they start college. Welcome Weekend was certainly filled with lots of wonderful memories this year!

Happy first day of school, Cougs! We can't wait to see what this year holds in store for you.

Still thinking about the finale of Welcome Weekend, our annual "mugging" with an APU mug and a root beer float, and Good Times, where our Alpha Leaders put on a show for new students. Thank you to our APU alumni who helped for these fun events!

Local pastors and ministry leaders gathered for lunch hosted by APU's Center for Vocational Ministry. They heard from Thrivent financial advisors about ways that churches can be wise with finances, equip members with ways to give, and strategies for financial sustainability.
