Gareth Hughes 💚🏴 Sally Harris So many bread & butter lines in short supply or unavailable - been in CP 30 odd years & never known anything like it 😱
We think it’s absurd & unfair that pharmacies are often paid less by the NHS for prescription medicines than the cost at which they can buy them. 81% of the public agrees! (NPA-commissioned survey September 2022) #dispensingataloss @PSNCNews NHS England
National Pharmacy Association @PSNCNews NHS England Contractors have been pushed beyond their limits. Penalty fees, fuel surcharges, price hikes, rent spiralling, energy prices, workload increase, discounts eliminated or reduced, prices above reimbursement and constant defunding. Not sustainable #pharmacycalling
Kassim 🇵🇸 National Pharmacy Association @PSNCNews NHS England ……..NLW increase of 50% since 2015 and increase of 10% coming in April 2023 and the impact this has across whole workforce!
Heartbreaking, had to turn away 4 patients this morning due to the antibiotic shortage. BBC Breakfast Rishi Sunak Do you want to come down to my pharmacy and tell patients there is still no shortage? @AIMpharmacies CPWYinfo Independent Pharmacy Contractors Network NHS England
Azhar Iqbal BBC Breakfast Rishi Sunak @AIMpharmacies CPWYinfo Independent Pharmacy Contractors Network NHS England I have never seen so many Rxs for Penicillin V and Amoxicillin suspension in my life than I have this week.
Margaret McCartney Prof Sir Gregor Smith Branded generics is a false economy and creates more work for every one involved and also costs more in the long term. Next time listen to your community pharmacist and not the health board.
Managed to find one wholesaler selling penicillin liquid today and ordered some. However, it is costing us £11.78 per bottle but we get reimbursed £2.08 from Department of Health and Social Care! This is why pharmacies have had enough as we can't give the service we want to patients whilst making a loss!
Mohammed Ikhlaq Graham Stretch Need some support & guidance on this. Last month was Omeprazole, this month too many antibiotics to mention David Reissner @PSNCNews @ABuxtonPSNC National Pharmacy Association what can contractors do. These prices are being manipulated and it’s independent contractors who are being penalised.

Sri Kanaparthy Pharmacist Thorrun, Healthcare Expert JustAPharmacist Royal Pharmaceutical Society Paul Bennett Amber not green. I suspect if the order was transmitted it would come back red....but I guess my previous comment stands. We can all pop over to Pharmacist Thorrun, Healthcare Expert pharmacy and borrow the stock that arrives tomorrow...🙃
@PSNCNews Janet Morrison National Pharmacy Association I think we have a case for Judicial Review on below grounds. • Procedural unfairness of the decision maker who is biased. • irrational decision as funding cuts so unreasonable that no person, acting reasonably, could make it
@PSNCNews Janet Morrison Run a ballot with all contractors to see if they want some of their statutory levies to be used to explore this and legally challenge. razalghul TasB Leyla Hannbeck @AIMpharmacies National Pharmacy Association
