"There seems to be no political will to implement the 2/3 Gender Rule. So let us join women in pushing for the implementation of this rule. Let us be present in pushing for the NADCO report.." Hon. SC. Kalonzo Musyoka #LSKAnnualConference2024

“As we discuss the #TwoThirdsGenderRule, we are reminded of the significant progress that has been made but challenges remain. The Kenyan judiciary has repeatedly declared Parliament unconstitutional for failing to implement this rule.” Stefan Schott #FreedomCafe
“Women are underrepresented in the media yet the media’s role involves informing perceptions about identity, self worth and capability. If media is not showcasing women, what does that tell you? The media needs to do better.” Mustapha Dumbuya #TwoThirdsGenderRule #FreedomCafe
“As we advocate for more representation of women, our aim is not just to increase numbers but to ensure that all genders are adequately represented in decision-making positions.” Queenter Mbori #FreedomCafe #TwoThirdsGenderRule
“Studies such as ‘The State of Women in the Media’ by AKU Graduate School of Media and Communications shed light on the intricate dynamics of representation. Newsrooms can use such research data to foster fair and inclusive coverage.” Dr. Nancy Booker #FreedomCafe #TwoThirdsGenderRule
"As we wait for implementation of the #TwoThirdsGenderRule we should support women aspirants by giving them access to media spaces and campaign financing; speak to Sexual and Gender Based Violence (SGBV); and fix our political parties." WakiliWambeti #FreedomCafe
