A short announcement from me. I have resigned my commission after a total of 41 years (including my time as a cadet). The decision to go was mine and there was a feeling of relief when I had made that decision. A few folk have expressed concern, it was the right time.

I have proudly served as OC 2450 (Dudhope) Sqn and the Small Arms Training Team. I wish my successor well.

Fighter trilogy - I'm guessing all to scale ? Interesting to look at the surface wing area and shape of all three types - I met two of the three TSR2 pilots - it must have been something to go from Lightning to TSR2 ..

I'd say the Tonka and Lightning are to scale but TSR2 would of dwarfed them.

My Dad flew Lancasters, (after the Dambusters time). He then flew Canberras with @IXBSq, then Vulcans with 617 Squadron at RAF Scampton. Our family moved to RAF Finningley where was a Squadron Leader with 230 OCU & Vulcan XH558 was his main aircraft Vulcan XH558

Money for nothing and absolutely disgusting that the DVLA can sell your details to a private company, the same goes for hospitals too, theres no future here for hard workers and saving for a better future, I've had it with UK plc and can't wait to leave for good.
