FIRST EVER Reverse Shadow Day for Ridge at the middle schools! Our amazing AVID Leaders followed their “little”buddy all day, modeling how we do things at Ridge. Can’t wait to have these 8th graders at Ridge next year!

AVID Leaders went to Fossil Hill today to talk to the 8th graders about AVID at Ridge. These scholars are simply amazing….and great role models!!!

Our AVID Leaders went to Vista Ridge Middle School to speak to the middle school students about AVID at the Ridge. We are so excited about seeing all these 8th graders next year at Ridge! Our leaders were amazing Friday and today taking the time to speak to each student.

Panther Showcase was GREAT! Our AVID Leaders took the time to show off great examples of AVID Strategies and talk to our incoming 9th graders about AVID! Shout out to all these ladies!

The AVID community is more than just doing binder checks and processing notes. It’s a chance to make new friends and opens doors for your future. It leaves us with skills that we will continue to use for the rest of our lives.

This post is a little late, but we nominated Ms. Fentress for AVID teacher of the month for January! Congratulations! Ms. Fentress has been a great role model for all of her students and has demonstrated AVID strategies within her class.
