Just want to appreciate the club how they have handled the RB situation by quietly excluding him from content, as well acted quickly to get Conor Bradley’s extension and Frimpong deal without wasting time after the celebrations. They knew how we felt and did it superbly.

Liverpool in a significant show of operating from a position of strength. It’s quite a start to the summer to follow an agile deal for Jeremie Frimpong (after banking £10m to release Trent Alexander-Arnold a month early), with a club-record drive to get Florian Wirtz. This while

Dear Caoimhin, There is something profoundly dignified in how you’ve carried yourself through these years, the understudy whose performances belied the prefix. In an era where patience is mislabelled as passivity, you proved that waiting for your turn can be a triumph in itself.

“Grief, I’ve learned, is really just love. It’s all the love you want to give, but cannot. All that unspent love gathers up in the corners of your eyes, the lump in your throat, and in that hollow part of your chest. Grief is just love with no place to go.”

Until 23/24 colleagues were saying ‘it’s not the right time, let’s keep our powder dry’, this years award was less than RPI and CPIH of the same month and less than average pay rises in private sector. The graph shows you what will happen.

How beautiful is this version of YNWA from the Liverpool Philharmonic, dedicated to Diogo and André Jota last week. It’s so powerful and personal it deserves to be played at Anfield for the first game of the season. Whoever at Liverpool FC needs to sort it — make it happen. ❤️🎻

Yet we have a normal pension age for surgery/anaesthetic/ICU/acute medicine/etc of 67-68! Maybe some dissonance? When I was appointed retirement age was 60 but when I had 13 years to go it became 67 via act of parliament cutting up my original pension contract.

I thought that Virgil Van Dijk performance vs Newcastle United was the pinnacle of defending, but he finds a way to elevate his game to another level. He’s without doubt the GOAT CB and comfortably clear of #2 as well. An absolute colossus.

If we factor in the guaranteed sale of Harvey Elliott for LFC, Arsenal net outspent everyone this summer. Over the past 5 years, AFC have spent (net) double that of LFC and Man City. Approx £700m vs LFC’s and Man city’s approx 350m each. The idea that Arteta deserves some

These 2 moments from Chiesa illustrate what’s impressed me a lot about him this season. His OOP press and intensity has gone to a different level. IP he has adapted brilliantly to the 9 role, and has given us moments of brilliant link up. Outstanding.
