As part of a global UNICEF project, UNICEF ZIMBABWE is one of the 7 countries, conducting consultation workshops to develop Mental Health promotion tools for #Adolescents, Caregivers & Professionals. Consultations are ongoing w/ recent visits to Seke rural and Harare urban.

Today l was in Seke rural area facilitating a dialogue between rural women and their duty bearers which include the Councillor and the village head . We discussed a lot of women issues including women’s peace and security and l unpacked the UNSCR1325 to them. #RuralEmpowerment

Every Child has a right to inclusive and Quality Education. Yesterday we recieved 4 laptops to support our ongoing ICT Program in Ziko village were we are working tirelessly to provide computer training to primary school children to speed up digital growth in rural areas.

We must stop Child Marriages together as it is not only an extreme disease of society but it ruins the dreams of hundreds of thousands girls. Changing our attitudes towards girls, boycotting the invitation to child marriage can play a big role in preventing child marriages.

We launched UNDP Zimbabwe Climate Offer together with the Minister of Energy & his team. This is an initiative under UNDP Africa Energy Promise to promote renewables in the energy mix & test new funding modalities. All in line with 🇿🇼 Renewable Energy Policy. Our 👣 at #ZITF2022
