Students are buzzing about book clubs thanks to Mrs. Hense! Meghan Hense hosted Ridgeview’s first-ever Dystopian and Sci Fi Book Tasting - complete with lab experiments, black lights and pens with invisible ink! Visalia Unified School District #bookclubs #ridgeviewreaders

We are learning about Japanese artist Yayoi Kusama and her beautiful art! We are drawing pumpkins in the style of Kusama on black paper with metallic markers and covering them with polka dots like the artist. Our students have been making beautiful pieces! #VisaliaUSD

Spring is an exciting time in our Visalia Unified School District schools. Enjoyed a luncheon to recognize our industry partners, stopped by an art show and a literacy night. We have an amazing community.

We are taking art outside and learning to “draw what you see”. Our 4th through 6th graders are learning how to draw a tree by following the contour lines, adding details, and shading. #IamVUSD
