It was great to speak at RAR.Australia Conference & to highlight the ongoing work that we need to do to ensure that we are a society that responds to the forced displacement of people with compassion, respect and dignity.

Letters like this create anxiety & distress, in a community that has little autonomy over their lives. Ppl being asked for their resettlement plan, with a deadline, when the Govt still doesn’t have a plan with sufficient resettlement opportunities for all, is distinctly cruel.
