Today I joined the Marietta Area Chamber of Commerce to speak at their Legislative Luncheon. I am grateful that I had the opportunity to talk about my background, vision for a better Ohio, and take questions from local business leaders.

We just finished knocking on doors for the afternoon. Rain or shine, I will always show up for the people of District 30. It was a productive day today. I spoke to about 20 people interested in voting for me. We've only got 36 days until Election Day! Let's do this!

I joined AFSCME and the newly formed United Academics of Ohio University this weekend in OU's homecoming parade. It's time OU comes to the table for a vote and a fair contract. Thank you to the OU College Democrats and AthensDems for carrying our banner and signs.

Last night I joined the OU College Democrats at their weekly meeting to discuss my campaign. It's great to be around these campus leaders who will hopefully run for office themselves someday!

I appreciated the opportunity to speak to Star Grange #778 today at their annual Chicken BBQ. The baked goods were great, and the conversations were even better. I will always stand up for our rural communities and make sure they're not being left behind.

Our team just completed our voter registration efforts for the cycle. I am so thankful for the hard work they've been putting in. Hundreds of newly registered students at Ohio U will now have the opportunity to make their voices heard this fall. Let's keep up the momentum!

Last night I spoke to the Athens County Democratic Party at their annual fall dinner about how we can build a better Ohio. Union jobs, expanding healthcare coverage, and ensuring people have enough to eat aren't controversial, they're the path to a thriving Southeast Ohio.

We had a busy day yesterday on the campaign trail! Two canvass launches with Senator Sherrod Brown in Athens and Marietta, door knocking in Athens, and a meet and greet in Cutler with Wenda Sheard for Ohio and Tracey Wright for Washington County Recorder.

This weekend, I joined Mother Forward in Steubenville for a candidate forum discussing childcare costs, paid leave, and how we can ease the financial burden for working families.
