Happy New Years from Area Ambulance Service! In 2021 AAS was dispatched to 25,902 calls for service and transported 18,561 patients. We wish everyone a wonderful and prosperous 2022, and we stand ready to again provide exceptional care to all of our patients.

To all the law enforcement agencies that we work alongside, happy Law Enforcement Appreciation Day. We could not do our jobs without you! Thank you for your continued dedication to protect and serve; your hard work does not go unnoticed or unappreciated!

Sadly the snow is not going to stop any time soon, so please stay home if your able to! We’ve only had a few accidents with medical emergencies since the snow started which is amazing! Let’s stay home and keep those accidents down!

It’s National Public Safety Telecommunications Week! We would like to take the time to recognize, celebrate, and thank the men and women who sit in the “chair” at Area Ambulance Service, and of course our partners in the surrounding communities.

It is with the heaviest of hearts, we write to tell you that our coworker, friend, and AAS brother, Joel Polhamus passed away. Our thoughts and prayers go out to the EMS community, his family, and everyone that he has had an impact on. 💔
