Area 2 Farms Fast Company Hyped to see this Area 2 Farms coverage; it's not enough to just complain about our broken food system in America, I'm hyped to be investing millions to fix it. LFG.

Why is it that every time someone comes back from Europe, they talk about the taste of the tomatoes? 🍅 I left Area 2 Farms thinking about purple shamrock plants + microgreens so fresh they made me want to move back to DC. It pulled me back to my yiayiá’s garden in Greece 🇬🇷.

"move the farm, not the food" -- also psyched for Area 2 Farms. years ago slow lead the seed from a tweet -- I wanted NetJets for Farms... Oren J. Falkowitz was cooking something that could scale everywhere. Model is practical, immediate, live game changer for healthy food access.

Weather in California's "Salad Bowl" is causing food shortages and price hikes. This is exactly why we're building a new food system. Our local, community-based farms are built for reliability, providing fresh, organic produce right in your neighborhood. No 1,500-mile journeys.

The nutrient density of fruits and vegetables has declined by as much as 40% over the past 75 years, as our food system has gotten really good at producing yield, and extending shelf life. Next time you walk through a store, and notice how everything sparkles, ask yourself

The U.S. grocery sector looks competitive from the outside, but behind the scenes, four giants — Walmart, Kroger, Costco, and Albertsons — control roughly half of all grocery sales in America. Going Direct: Area 2 Farms is rebuilding local food systems from the ground up —

Now is the time to plant spring garlic, because garlic needs the cold months to form strong roots. And here’s the secret…it’s super easy. Prep and plant the bulbs, and then chill out drinking apple cider by the fire until spring comes. area2farms.com/almanac/planti…
