With the showers forecast to finish at 11 it will be a good day to visit the hides, take a boat safari or just enjoy time outdoors in the changing season. Look out for kingfishers from the Ramsar and Scrape hides. Thanks Alec Pelling for the photo taken last weekend.

Eat, Prey, Leave: Arundel's barn owls roost in our hides at night, leaving us their pellets made up of bones, fur and indigestible parts of their prey. This half term dissect an owl pellet at weekend workshops for a look at who the owls have been eating. ow.ly/aVTs50TPuXF

One, two, three, four raccoons for twilight breakfast today on ⁦WildlifeKate⁩ ‘s guest cam from Scott's Birdwatching HQ - Ohio, USA. Great watching the interaction. Love the way they sit in the tray searching and feeding themselves with their paws.
