Happy to see the rice-shrimp farmers in Tan Bang Commune in the Mekong Delta after 3 years away because of COVID. Our trials on better management practices increased shrimp production and farm profits. UNSW Science UNSW Biological, Earth and Environmental Sciences UNSW Global Water Institute UNSW CMSI
My UNSW Science interns participated in our site visit at Tan Bang Commune. Melissa Abdallah & Marianne Feoli learned about trust & relationship building for successful multi stakeholder collaboration. They also met our women lead farmers, trained by the project team UNSW Global Water Institute
Marianne Feoli and Melissa Abdallah finished the Rice-Shrimp Project component of their internship.
