1/ Exactly one month ago in a galaxy far, far away, a team of individuals began a period of testing for a system they hoped would revolutionize how society stores & queries its data. Today, we celebrate one month since the launch of KYVE’s Korellia incentivized testnet!💥⬇️

2/ Over the past few weeks, the KYVE team has kept tabs on all the data we have gathered from our incentivized testnet to improve KYVE 💫, ensuring that we are providing our community with the best possible decentralized data lake experience.

3/ The Korellia incentivized testnet has been pretty successful thus far, with no major technical issues. However, on the community side, we’ve encountered some issues with users manipulating the faucet system. KYVE is actively working on solutions to faucet abuse.

4/ Let’s take a look at some quick stats… ✅ 1300+ nodes running (both protocol and chain nodes) ✅ 32,100+ valid tasks completed ✅ 60k valid data bundles created ✅ 30GB+ of compressed data archived onto ArweaveTeam

5/ Our team has been working hard at finding the best ways to adapt to this quick growth of activity. For example, we are separating the request load by applications (App, Explorer, protocol nodes) and have set up dedicated nodes to handle the traffic.

6/ A high-level look at some issues we resolved: ❗️Network stability: separating traffic by apps & setting up dedicated servers ❗️Slashing: refunding users after Arweave downtime ❗️Badge issuance: enabling a one-time linking between users’ Moonbase & KYVE addresses

8/ This 1st phase of Mission Korellia has shown us the capabilities of our network & the determination of our community! We're ready to take things to the next level... ⚠️ KYVE’s incentivized testnet will be paused on June 3rd, & recommence on June 20 with the launch of Phase 2.

9/ Phase 2 of Mission Korellia will be more dev-focused, and include new tasks and incentivizations regarding participating in the KYVE Network. More details to come soon 👀
