For the 1,000th time: The common good isn’t a “collectivist” imposition on the individual. It is the good of the whole and also — consequently — the good of each individual *as an individual*.

A right is *precisely* a thing that is owed to another. Ironically this individualistic, liberal conception of “rights” is the fount of so-called wokeness. One is not going to “End Wokeness” by getting back to good ol’ liberalism. The problem runs much deeper.
