Again at *best,* the chief needs to address the failures of recruitment, training and performance management that allowed such manifestly incapable people to have badges and the public trust that goes with them.

The Toronto police service's credibility in all things is at stake.

It's a really big problem that multiple police officers testified to something that was at odds with video evidence and crash reconstruction.

At *best,* these police officers cannot be trusted to accurately recount events they witnessed because they're too easily confused.

Everyone should watch what Umar Zameer just said outside court as a free man. He thanked his lawyers but he also thanked Canada for not allowing an injustice to happen today.

He never should've been charged with murder in the first place. This was always a retaliatory prosecution, never a just one. A good family has been put through hell.
