Honour-based abuse is a form of abuse which occurs in all communities, impacting people of all backgrounds. It can lead to murder.

Today on #IWD I’m posting a picture of my mum who taught me to try to be kind, think of others & love unconditionally. Most of the time not very easy to do! We lost her last year but her strength & fun & attention to others lives on in her family. ❤️❤️

Anna Hall Nainita Desai Just finished watching The Push. Absolutely heartbreaking, yet beautiful and true. A profoundly moving musical score. Television at its finest. Congratulations to all concerned, and deepest sympathy to the family of Fawziyah, a precious daughter.

Congratulations to Candour Productions Anna Hall for telling Fawziyah’s story & respect & admiration to her parents & family for their bravery. It is clear that she was an amazing woman & this documentary is a fitting tribute which will hopefully save other women.
