Prime Minister Justin Trudeau and Federal Housing Minister Sean Fraser were in Halton Region today to announce measures in the 2024 Budget that will focus on building homes on public lands. Burlington is glad to partner with the federal government to help deliver more housing

The fastest way to build homes is to use the land we already have.

Government offices, military buildings, even post offices - these can all be turned into affordable homes.

We’re unlocking these public lands to lower construction costs & build affordable homes across Canada.

Glorifying the violence and murders by Hamas on Oct 7th is abhorrent. Peaceful protests do not include hateful intimidation. Here in Canada - everyone has a right to feel safe.

There is a difference between peaceful protest and hateful intimidation.

It is unconscionable to glorify the antisemitic violence and murder perpetrated by Hamas on October 7th. This rhetoric has no place in Canada. None.
