FOR THE ARTIST SCHOLARSHIP 🎨 If you're an artist currently enrolled in an art degree, please fill out this form. It will be active for the next week. Please be patient as we'll be taking a lot of time to go through applications. Thank you and good luck, artists!

It’s a tumultuous time to be an artist. Projects like Arcane continue to remind me how inspiring and compelling our devotion to art can be. I’m honored to be around to see these commitments to craft and creation. Many flowers to everyone who worked on the show. Beautifully done.

Flow was made entirely with Blender and rendered in real time with EEVEE. We didn't use a renderfarm. The final render was done on my PC. There was no compositing, all the colors were tweaked and adjusted using shaders.

Almost the entire Latvian crew of Flow from Dream Well Studio. In Latvia we did the development, preproduction, concept art, look dev, modeling, texturing, rigging, vfx, lighting, music, rendering and grade. Character animation, rigging and sound were done in France and Belgium.

Reminder that FLOW got made because Gints made his own luck. He didn’t wait for someone to open the door. Four years of making a truly no budget independent film (that was also great). He just won the Academy Award. Go make your thing.

‘FLOW’ was made entirely with the free computer software Blender and rendered in nearly real time with EEVEE. The film just won Best Animated Feature at the #Oscars See the full winners list: bit.ly/OscarWins25
