Turkish politics and history are often very complicated. It's very difficult to make informed judgments, as you need to be aware of the multiple historical, regional, social, cultural, economic, and political layers that overlap/interact with each other. 1/2

I can’t say I agree with this viewpoint. There’s a wide range of personalities & politics in the broader “natsec” community, but almost to a person they abhor war (many served) but believe severe materialist analysis is the best pathway to peace.

Very interesting comment by Zelensky: Pay attention to the Balkans. Believe me, we get the information. Russia has a long plan: middle East, the second distraction will be the Balkans. 1/2
