It's St. Patrick's Day, and we're five days away from our inaugural symposium in Salem, MA. I'd be remiss if I didn't invite us to reflect on how the American Gothic and Irish Gothic have been and still are in dialogue, and hope for future opportunities to think deeply with #SSAG

Four days away from our inaugural symposium, and Your Humble Servant is pondering hashtags. #SSAG is shortest, but a bit vague. #SSAmeriGothic reminds one of a ship. #SSAmGoth sounds like a Goth ship? And #AmericanNightmares could apply to many things currently. Much to consider!
