For years, I've used PayPal for payment of design services BUT after a client (buyer) seriously breeched our contract, PayPal forced a refund. I lost 4 weeks+ of work as I'm made to refund their (non-refundable) deposit. What other options for (online) payment are there?

For service based companies, PayPal doesn't protect you (ie. intangible goods) – so a client can get a refund of a deposit when they breech your contract. What are designers, developers, creatives using for online payment that will protect them & their contracts? Help!
