A busy day yesterday. Started off with some front line reconstructions before making our way to the memorial site of Wilfred Owen where we read some of his work and discussed the context and meanings. We even found an discarded WW1 shell in the field!

We finished the day as the sun went down at the Thiepval memorial. Such a massive structure with so many lost names #lestweforget18

A fab few days learning so much. Our final stop is Maison forestiere where Wilfred Owen spent his last four days. All ready for the memorial service to begin

Letters going out today for the Annual Charity Dance-a-thon. This year we are raising money to buy gifts for the Hits Radio Mission Christmas Toy Appeal.

A massive well done to our Year 10 football team who ran out as 1/4 final winners against @Team_Walkden B tonight, taking the win 4-2 on aggregate to set up a semi final against the winners of St Patrick's RC High School v St Ambrose Barlow PE
