One of my favorite genres especially in family films is the underdog hero or group of characters who prove that they are more capable than they think or even society thinks.

In addition to "slop" being a term that provides no actual substantial film analysis of any kind, if you told me the term originated from Harry Knowles or Jeffrey Wells, that wouldn't surprise me. Do you want to sound like Knowles and Wells? Didn't think so.

I’ve really grown to not like the term legacy sequel. Especially because people kind of pick and choose when to use it. Just call it a sequel.

Lowell R Alex Klepp I think Alex's point is why create a new term just because a sequel happens to be released 15+ years after the previous film(s). I don't remember people calling Crystal Skull a legacy sequel back in 2008. We just called it a sequel.

Lowell R I think people are smart enough to notice the characters from the previous movies have visibly aged. Anyone watching Godfather Part III can tell from looking at Al Pacino that it was made and set years later. That's why I think a new term is unnecessary.

If there's something I love about being a film lover, it's that you can never see enough films and there's always the opportunity to discover something for the first time that's popular or not, or a classic widely loved you haven't seen. It's always fun.

You know, you can like both K-Pop: Demon Hunters and FIXED. Better yet, you can like one without weirdly slandering the other one for reasons the movie itself or the people involved played no part in. What I’m saying may be a crazy concept for certain individuals.
