I wrote a feature for Queerty about the AI sex boom & whether your next hook up will be human. Much like with online dating & hookup apps, it's clear that gays will set the tone queerty.com/is-your-next-h…

My take is that AIPAC, Crypto and AI PACs have spent tens of millions to deceive voters in open House races, and that's absolutely terrible. It would also be a travesty if Raja Krishnamoorthi won and became Illinois' senator for the next ~30 years.

Jake Shane was trying to be glib and fell on his face. I pulled the same schtick early in my career. You can be snarky, but you always have to be genuine. If you're not, everyone will see through you. Hopefully this will be a learning experience for him.

I’m watching WGN TV News’ election coverage. The panelists keep mentioning “outside money” coming in to boost candidates like Donna Miller and Melissa Conyears-Ervin but they don’t mention where that outside money was from 🤔

Kat Abughazaleh has no connection to the district she ran in. She was never going to win: Daniel Biss is the mayor of Evanston & a Warren-type progressive. It’s a very engaged district. Yet, Kat still finished 2nd over ~12 others. That shows there’s major hunger for leftism.

I don’t know much about Julianna Stratton, but I am glad that Raja Krishnamaroothi lost. He’s an empty suit funded by right-wing Hindu nationalists and dark money PACs to the tune of tens of millions. That’s not what democracy should be about.

There is a growing, bi-partisan consensus in this country that recognizes legalized sports gambling has gone way too far and is corrupting young men and society at large. It’s a natural issue for leftists to lead on. Go AOC!

This is so cheesy. Content matters, not the presentation. My favorite podcast is Breaking Points and Saagar Enjeti, Krystal Ball, Ryan Grim & Emily Jashinsky all dress nicely & sit behind a desk in a TV studio. But they talk about the world as it is. That’s the difference!

Truth. The amount of gay men who never leave Lakeview is sad. It’s easy to fall into a trap of doing the same things but you gotta push yourself to explore different neighborhoods.

When people become independent creators, there’s no separation between business & editorial. Mainstream orgs have that separation & in good orgs that means there’s a firewall in place. Of course, that firewall is all but gone now too, but that’s how it should work in theory.

On one hand, I think it’s funny that ICE agents will be relegated to checking IDs at the airport. On the other hand, I feel like ICE will now never leave airports and this will become a way to control our movement. With this administration, you always have to assume the worst.

This is so disgusting. But Joe Kent, whose resignation was brave and admirable, will probably still say he "supports the president." I don't get it.

This is a big reason why high-profile Dems are pushing tax-free policies. There is so much disillusionment right now & many people feel like the federal government in particular does nothing for them. It’s an understandable view: our hard-earned tax dollars go towards bombs & ICE
