Truly delighted to see my friend and former Chief Executive Eleanor Kelly awarded a much deserved CBE in tonight’s New Year’s honours. Recognition of a life working for local government, serving Southwark, London and many more beyond during the pandemic.

Today we held our Southwark Council cabinet in the beautifully restored Walworth Town Hall. We covered a lot of important business And launched 2 publications: James McAsh jamesmcash.bsky.social Streets for People delivery plan and our Corporate Parenting annual report, which I was v proud to introduce...

We're lucky having great primary schools in Newington including Crampton #SE17 which is in the top 1% nationally. Yesterday we met teachers & governors to discuss what extra support they need to continue delivering outstanding education for children with a focus on SEND provision
