Liver disease is a public health emergency in 🏴. Early diagnosis is vital and I was pleased to have my liver scanned by British Liver Trust at Scottish Parliament today.

At the British Liver Trust Love Your Liver event, Drugs and Alcohol Policy Minister Christina McKelvie and Public Health Minister Jenni Minto MSP learned about the importance of early detection of liver disease and underlined Scottish Government’s focus on taking preventative measures to save lives.
Lots of learning today about alcohol and risk taking for this Group from Easter Carmuirs Primary & ELC they experienced the dangers of being impaired by the drug alcohol and discussed peer pressure and decision making, well done to all Alcohol Focus Scotland #Communitysafety
