Rebel Ridge is a goddamn triumph. A stripped down, lean, mean action thriller that's smartly political in a way that's entirely organic to the story. Aaron Pierre is an absolute rock star. "I gotta haunt these motherfuckers myself." Superb.

After watching Rebel Ridge, we need to see more of Aaron Pierre, a LOT more.

I Fucking Love REBEL RIDGE This is *Not* a guns blazing action movie, but a fully realized, deliberately paced Crime Thriller about our Fucked Up legal system. Don Johnson has villainy downs to a science. AnnaSophia Robb is on point. Aaron Pierre is a SuperStar in the making.
