Apologies for the constant promotion, but I would love for our Raptors/NBA show "North of the Arc" to reach 100 YouTube subscribers by the end of the week. Please help out the show. Every share goes a long way. Noor youtube.com/@NorthOfTheArc

This is where I'm at too. I said in my piece, the minutes with any of CMB, Sandro, and SB have fine rebounding and good defending ratings, and their versatility, offensively, has popped. It totally depends on the opponent, but assuming Jak comes back, I think you don't bother

Just telling you now, if you couldn’t stomach watching IQ on D, you might need some Pepto for when he and Sabonis try and survive pick and rolls.

I don’t agree. Maybe not bought at the time, but they did. And when he’s healthy he’s a top 15 centre that complements a team lacking a legitimate creator: rebounding, screening, finishing at-rim, and passing. Injury is a shame but not sure they should bail on him nor Raps buy

A relieving trade deadline. Was praying Raptors avoided Sabonis/Ja. Maybe, at a low price or to get off IQ but better keep future flexibility. This team is still young/lots to discover. And after last 3 losses, clearly not ready for playoffs + DESPERATELY need a perimeter creator

The NBA has had literally had an illegal gambling operation broken up by the FBI this season that consisted of: Multiple teams Multiple players Staff of teams Close associates of players And we have heard more about the Jazz tanking as a risk to the league integrity.

This is such a good example of the League’s messed up priorities. Instead of announcing the punishments in a timely fashion - because the Hornets and Pistons play in SIX HOURS - they reassure us that anyone suspended (Duren) will still be allowed to play in the ALL-STAR game.

I say this with an open mind and kind heart: I don’t think Immanuel Quickley is an NBA starter at this point of his career.

This is the issue. The NBA suffers shit leadership. The tanking, suspensions, Apron system, load management, the ALLSTAR GAME: none of it has logic or consistency or promise of strengthening the League. It’s a dumb/stubborn/greedy leader doing whatever he wants not what is needed

Posited KPJ as a trade target this past deadline assuming Bucks were tanking and cost was low. His size, passing, and rim pressure are exactly what the Raps crave. Problem is, he's yet to demonstrate he's a good person.

Kiki Rice is a PHENOMENAL pick. Was projected No. 5, and probably was No. 5 in Toronto's mocks, but with the Sky picking Jaquez at 5, they get her at No. 6 That's a point guard with HIGH IQ, a National Champion, and will be a great ambassador for this team. Excellent pick.
