It was great to chair Bramley Forum this evening. Thank you to everyone who came. We had important discussions on antisocial behaviour, crime prevention, road safety and the cost of living crisis. Next meeting is Thursday 25th January.

Great to be at Rachel Reeves book launch tonight in Leeds. Rachel is on top of her brief and is refreshingly honest about our country’s finances. Her top priority is working people and the green transition. I’m looking forward to her becoming our first woman Chancellor.

The Conservatives have forced Leeds into a perilous position. Our city’s budget has been cut by £2.5 BILLION since the Tories came to power in 2010. Now, thanks to the Conservatives, the cost of energy and resources has gone through the roof. Labour will clean up this mess.
