Pandemic preparedness is much more than buying ventilators or vaccine factories. A coordinated health system for data collection, linkage, clinical trials, and implementation of new knowledge takes decades of foresight. Canada has many lessons to learn.

We enrolled our first remap-cap patients to mutidomains, Vitamin C and Antiplatelet, at Nepal sites. Contributing the global #REMAPCAP community to find the answers to #COVID19 treatment. And a great learning experience to build research capacity in LMICs.

India is reporting 350,000+ COVID cases per day. It's estimated the actual number is 10X. That's 3.5 million per day. In 10 days that's the entire population of Canada. Perspective. We need to be thinking of others today, and tomorrow. #India
